You can now transfer data from Maltego Evidence into Maltego Graph (Desktop). You’ll be able to export selected target profiles as an .mtgx graph, including all direct connections and postings, for a structured and complete export.
This enhancement makes it easy to continue investigations in Graph with advanced analysis tools and external data sources, bridging the gap between Maltego tools to improve workflow flexibility and investigative depth.
Go to “Project Exports” and select “Graph Exchange Format” to download the collected data as an .mtgx graph
Facebook Data Collection: We are currently experiencing increased issues when collecting data from Facebook. This is due to ongoing, step-by-step changes to Facebook’s API. Our team is working diligently to adapt to these updates as quickly as possible. However, since the changes are being rolled out incrementally, we are temporarily reacting with a slight delay.
Vanity Name: In some cases, vanity names from collected social media profiles may not be displayed, even though they were successfully captured. If this occurs, we recommend exporting and re-importing the entire project. This issue will not affect future data collections.
